"I’ve been training with Matt, Blake and the team at Studio 99 for about 18 months now. This is easily one of the best decisions I’ve ever made for my health and I wish I would have known them way earlier.

Back then, I had been with Goodlife gym  for a few years however I was struggling for results. While I wanted to improve my fitness, I found myself unmotivated and clueless of what exercises to do. Consequently, my gym visit’s frequency started to drop, it got to the point that I needed to look somewhere else to become a fitter version of myself.

Studio 99 was exactly what I needed, soon enough, I found myself at the gym every day. The trainers there are friendly, professional and willing to help  with training and nutritional advices. Every training session here is different , challenging and fun at the same time( the small classes are my favourite ).  By the end of each training session at Studio 99,  I would mostly find myself exhausted, laying on the floor, gasping for air, however, I feel better, fresher, more satisfied each day. Not only I can feel the fitness progress, I can see it too.  I have reduced my weight by 7kg and my fitness level has improved significantly.

"I have found Studio99 to have incredibly friendly, welcoming and encouraging staff. Between the staff and members the gym has a great supportive feel to it.
The trainers are all exceptional with a great variety of specialities e.g. CrossFit, Olympic lifting, exercise physiology, etc. All of which put emphasis on perfect technique above all else.
Since starting at studio99, my fitness has improved remarkably, my skill set and technique in many disciplines has widened and the confidence I have in myself is far better than it ever has been. "I have never really enjoyed gym training, as my body type has always struggled to change ( I eat a lot of food and remain skinny......bonus I guess!)  so I found it best to do more sports-based activities.
Studio 99 is very close to my workplace, so I would often walk by and see the various sessions going on, which looked tough- but very fun!I decided to give it a go and have never looked back since. I have more motivation, I am happier with my fitness levels, and for the first time ever my body has started to change and get a lot bigger, stronger and more defined overall.
I realise now that sitting in a "Normal" gym on my phone watching people was never going to get me anywhere. Having all the coaches at Studio 99 push you to be better and have them lead by example is just what I needed.

"All you have to do is -JUST KEEP TURNING UP" was the advice given to reach my goals (weight loss/muscle gain)
I walked into Studio 99 and signed up 1 year ago and this piece of advice has stuck with me and kept me in the game.

While the idea of losing weight and getting fit was at the forefront,  creating  a healthy balance to my life, which was weighed heavily on the social side would quickly get my attention . Where I was one year ago was shy, introverted, negative and depressed and while this remains a work in progress, through the support of my trainer Matt, the 99 staff and the wider studio community I feel a lot more positive and confident which has helped me at work and in my personal life. I'm now looking forward to seeing what I can achieve by this time next year. 

Over the past 12 months I have really seen this gym evolve and becoming the one stop shop for all your health requirements. I had a lot of back and neck issues that started showing up when training, where I was able to get  assistance from their exercise physiologist Tim and in house remedial massage staff. With the nutritionist  Annalie now on board  it feels like Studio 99 now has the complete package. The staff are all down to earth and approachable to ask for advice/direction and with the community atmosphere they generate through classes and their 6-10 week challenges it gives you a sense of family that I haven't felt at any other gym. I have completed 3 challenges now and these really keep you engaged with reaching my goal and having a ton of fun on the way.

There is such a variation of classes, trainers and times tables available that it allows you to fit in your fitness around a busy work and family lifestyle. Being a huge gym it creates an amazing energy when busy pushing you along through to the quieter times which is my favourite for the lunch time session.

Finally big thanks to my trainer Matt Tranter who always puts together new and creative ideas with my training so I'm never bored (however, I still hate leg day). He’s helped me lose weight, increase muscle and kept me going with his one piece of advice . . . .JUST KEEP TURNING UP.
